Geico Checking Switch Kit

If you haven’t opened a GEICO Federal Credit Union (GEICO FCU) checking account because it seemed like too much trouble to switch accounts, our Switch Kit has been specially designed to make switching your checking account simple and convenient. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Get the printable Geico Switch Kit Brochure by clicking here
   
2. Fill out the Checking Account application. CLICK HERE FOR APPLICATION
   
   Mail it to:
   GEICO Federal Credit Union
   One Geico Plaza
   Washington, DC 20076
   Attn: Switch Kit Application
   
3. Use the “Redirect My Automatic Payment” form for companies currently taking payments out of your existing checking account, who need you to send in a form. You’ll need to contact each company for specific instructions. If you set up these payments through a website, you may be able to make the switch online.
   
4. Fill out the “Redirect My Automatic Credit” form for companies currently depositing funds into your account and make arrangements to have these switched.
   
5. When you have finished switching all of your debits and deposits to your new GEICO FCU account, complete the “Please Close My Account” form and send it to your old financial institution.
